At the beginning of the decade of the seventies, Don Jesús M. Quiñones and his wife Doña Genoveva Santiago made the important decision to embark on their entrepreneurial path by setting up a small and modest establishment built of wood and zinc roofs for the sale of Puerto Rican terraces and slabs for the covering of floors and walls for the neighbors in the western area of ​​the island. With the passing of a decade that aspiration took better shape and managed to evolve from a humble space to a larger store built in cement.

The knowledge of the market and the skills of merchants of Don Jesús and his wife were transcending generations, his sons Jaime and Edgar Quiñones, a few years later, took the reins and entered the family business. Passion for the business, excellence in product quality and dedication to customer satisfaction have grown day after day since the corporation was formed in 1990.

So much so that after countless attempts it was possible to establish an alliance to import the first cargo van directly from Spain. It was not an easy task. It required a greater effort from management to successfully complete the negotiation. This was key to providing consumers with the best prices and the best quality of products. All that effort was translated into the creation of the largest “Show Room” in Puerto Rico and ample warehouse space, which opened its doors in 2012 with great dedication and in order to create the best space for our clients to feel comfortable and can count on the merchandise at the moment. CTA, the Terrazos y Azulejos Center, continues its family legacy and commanding the third generation of the family with engineer Wesley Quiñones.
